A 29-year-old pregnant woman successfully delivered male twins at Solid Rock Hospital on 29th of October 2024. The woman, a primigravida, was admitted to the facility on 28th of October 2024 at approximately 7:30 PM after experiencing a leakage of amniotic fluid.
Upon admission, the woman was monitored closely by medical staff, including a gynecologist. As her condition progressed, she began experiencing uterine contractions. At 6:30 AM, she was fully dilated, and the first twin was delivered at 6:33 AM. The second twin followed shortly after, arriving at 6:45 AM.
The newborn twins weighed 2.25 kg and 2.17 kg, respectively, and both were healthy with 1st twin Apgar score 81 95, 2nd twin Apgar score 81 95. 3rd stage ended well. The mother also recovered well from the delivery.
She was discharge on the 31st of October 2024.
