Solid Rock Hospital recently treated a 35-year-old man diagnosed with an Anal Fistula, a condition that creates an abnormal connection between the anus and surrounding tissues.
The patient had a successful Anal Fistulectomy, a surgical procedure to treat the condition.
The mid-aged man was admitted to the hospital on the morning of November 26th, 2024. Pre-operative bowel preparation and blood tests were done. Consent form was also signed.
The procedure began at 9:30am on November 27th, 2024, and ended in due time. Doctors used spinal anesthesia to ensure the patient’s comfort during the operation.
